Much of my work stems from my love of landscape photography. Being outdoors in all weather. Capturing fleeting moments of light that can completely transform a scene from uninteresting to something special for just a brief period of time. My work takes me all over the UK, from the city and seascapes of Yorkshire to the Northumberland coast and Scottish Highlands.
Cities
I generally prefer to photograph cities at dawn or late evening when they are quiet and traffic is generally easier to avoid.
Landscape
Rivers and Mountains have the strongest draw. With the right light and a carefully selected viewpoint, less dramatic landscapes can still delight.
Coast
Waves and tide endlessly fascinate. Quaint seaside villages or vast endless beaches both offer hours of possibility.
